Work experience in Hertfordshire

Experience? Where do I Start?

I have been happily and successfully involved in the Business world for many, many years and I often wonder why I chose the industry that I served and whether my life would have been different if I had gone in a whole new direction.

The assessment of employment or even your life’s work is always based on experience, and this sounds like a wonderful value, but it is like embarking on an almost endless cycle of events, for how do you get experience in work or in life if there is not the place to start and gain this knowledge.

Vocational Skills are in very short supply currently and with some 600,000 people leaving the world of work, post pandemic and taking early retirement, the cost of employment is rising, and Businesses are seriously considering how they can protect and project their organisations into the future. I often smile at Companies so willing to pay huge recruitment fees for ready made staff, but not considering the opportunities that now exist to take the next steps to select their employees of the future and support the next generation into the world of work, or even their employment.
